Project Overview

Performed the Hydraulic analysis and to evaluate the cavitation problem in the condenser water pumping system in KAUST. Performed hydraulic analysis for the KAUST chilled water plant along with network system comprising of two Zones of water cooled centrifugal chiller systems: Zone-A contain 5 centrifugal water cooled chillers (5 x 5,000 TR/Chiller) with capacity of 25,000 Ton, serving the main campus building along with associated primary pumps, secondary pumps, condenser pumps & cooling towers. Zone-B contains 4 centrifugal water cooled chillers (4 x 5,000 TR/Chiller) with capacity of 20,000 Ton, along with associated primary pumps, secondary pumps, condenser pumps & cooling towers.
