Project Overview

Design of the Lift Station The lift station designed and sized to accommodate transfer the ultimate peak sewer flows from Community 2, seven (7) phases plus the flows coming from SW-25 which is in Community 1 to the existing SWTP. Total peak demand flow = 8,388.11 m Hydraulic Analysis Performed Hydraulic analysis from the lift station up to SWTP-2 around 25 km using AFT Fathom software. The size and capacity of the sewer pumps and pipes are determined using the analysis. Surge Analysis Performed transient analysis for the sewer system using Bentley Hammer software. Hydraulic transient analysis is performed using the above software to simulate the surge condition for different scenarios: 1. Sudden Pump Start 2. Sudden Pump Trip or Pump power failure 3. Sudden Valve closure when pump in normal operation 4. Different positions of valves
